Of Monsters and Men

Of Monsters and Men was co-written with Kevin J. Anderson and is based upon the original Planet of the Apes film series.

This was a very exciting project and we had the good fortune of being able to call upon not only the original five Planet of the Apes films, but the animated series and the live-action television series as well.

When settling upon an idea we wanted to write about, it became clear that we would want to set our story before the events of the first film. It is a story of a young Dr. Zaius and an unusual encounter deep in the Forbidden Zone.
