Old Mose was a Colorado grizzly bear, so named after the way he would just ‘mosey’ away after being shot. Supposedly he was shot innumerable times. You can read this Denver Post newspaper story or look up his legend all over the internet. You can even look into his real history researched by James E. Perkins in Old Mose (obviously I liked it. I wrote a fiction story based upon it.)
