COSine 2013

I will be at COSine this weekend and I will be surrounded by some great company, and I hope it includes you!

There will be fantastic authors there, and if one of them isn’t already your favorite, you are likely to find a new favorite if you come.

Seriously, it is a great chance to actually meet, and talk to, some great people. People like: John E Stith, Connie Willis, Kevin J. Anderson, Rebecca Moesta, Carol Hightshoe, Guy Anthony De Marco, Peter J. Wacks, David Boop, Travis Heermann, Pamela M. Nihiser – Author, Christopher Salas, Quincy Allen, Dana Bell, Rebecca Lickiss, Alan Lickiss…. OH! The list goes on!

This is not a crazy wild convention you’ll be sorry you missed. This is a ‘Wow! I can’t believe I talked to _____ for an hour! She/He is so nice!’ type convention. If you like to read, you owe it to yourself to come by and see who you can say ‘hi’ to.

My panel schedule:

FRIDAY
6 – 7pm  “Sidekicks, cats, and robots – the place of supporting characters in F&SF”

9 – 10pm  “Cross genre, cross dressing, and Charing Cross Road – what works and what sells?”

SATURDAY
11 – noon  “The Science of Steampunk or Aerodynamics in the World of Steam”

1 – 2pm  “The Hobbit – is it worth three movies and three years?”

4 -5pm  “The Benefits and Hazards of Critique Groups”

SUNDAY
1 – 2pm  “Achieving a gender balance in F&SF”
